The below is a picture i took with my phone. On the left is a large white box used by the post office. They said it was full of opposition for this bill. I know from experience that bombarding a committee with letters and phone calls has major effect. If you get bored call them. Call them daily! Send letters! Let them know you are against HR 669. We can stop it. The goal of every congressman is re-election and they don't often overwhelmingly unpopular legislation.

Yes, also call your representitive and voice your opinion. Currently the bill is in committee now and the committee will decide on the specific language and text of the bill. Also, the committee will decide if, when and how to introduce this bill for votes.

We have not won yet! The hearing was just to gain expert testimony. The committee has recieved great resistance but they can still propose this bill for votes on the house floor. Our fight is not over yet. Continue to call and write letters because nothing is decided yet. I have contacted my representitive and he is against this legislation. Please contact yours and find out what your rep's official position is and urge them to oppose HR 669.

I am as tired of this whole thing as everyone else but we cannot quit now. Keep up the fight against those who wish to destroy our beloved hobby.
