Time for time in the sun. since the weather was so nice out yesterday and i was home i decided to let the big guy out to do some roaming in the back yard. he spent about 2 hours out there yesterday. nice quality time. would of had more pics but i misplaced my card so i had to rely on the internal memory:wall::clap

here are the pics. i want to try and get a few of the rhino when he is outside. his blue really comes out when he is out there.

he loves it outside. the first summer i had him i spent a good portion of the day with him outside. but now that im working upwards of 50-60 hours a week time in the sun has been cut down. everytime i let him out to roam in my room he goes right for the window:D

i think hes going to get an outside enclosure this summer.

Awesome man! I built a large outdoor enclosure for mine to live in during the summer and he loved it! How tame is he when outdoors? I never trusted mine 100% when he was outside like that. One day mine saw a hawk fly over and ran into some shrubs next to my house. After that I didn't let him wonder around on his own without a leash.

he does pretty well. he just hangs out. he didnt show any sign of wanting to bolt off. i hope it stays that way. even if he did hes go no where to run to. the yard is all fenced in.

Thanks for the comments everyone.

How do you know? You only saw one of them;) Now serious the female is a feminine version of your boy, exact color and body shape. The male, well lets wait and see, looking good so far but a cople of years have to pass untill he shows he´s true self

as long as he is eating good i wouldnt be to worried about his size. does he have good eating habits? as long as his food intake is fine and consistent he should be fine.

have you had him checked for parasites?

He eats like a champ;) He wasnt checked for intestinal parasites but I dont beleave he has any significant amount of thouse if he has them at all, he doesant show any signs of having any kind of worms or anything like that. I had igs with worms and they acted diferent. If possible I allways avoid disrupting the flora gut of igs, actualy never had to do it even on thouse that had them, they putted on weigth fast. Only had to do that on chinese water dragons. He is healty but I beleave he is going to be allways a bit on the small side but lets wait and see. Soon I hope to have its new oversized enclosure ready and that should really give him a boost:D
