Some pics of my sweet set ups, I love my rays :D
I did not get the motoro from them though but I wish I had from the pics I have seen of them. The guyana ray is fattening up. He eats any shrimp or black worms he can find and is very active.

In that one picture I can see the pelvic bones by the tail. That means they have not been feed well. Makes me wonder about the place.

They are all on a heavy diet of lots of shrimp, black worms, ghost shrimp, carnivore sinking pellets and the ocasional large snail I find from the infestation in my 30 gallon tank. I know that the pelvic bone is visable but I assume it was from the original importation shipping and right now all the rays are eating everything that touches the bottom. And I know I use gravel but it is very rounded gravel that does not have any sharp sides. I am trying to convert the tank to sand but I am hesitant about changing anything since I just recently got all these rays and they are just getting used to the current conditions.
Will gravel be alright if it's a smooth, river rock type gravel? I know that in bare bottom tanks they are unable to bury themselves and still seem to thrive, so would a smooth, non-abrasive gravel work as well?
