theres all kinds of stuff in there. It's only a 55gallon but its well taken care of. Lots of cryptoheros and other small new world species. This is one of my favorite tanks. I add and remove stuff all the time. The only reason I think it works is because its so overstocked, all the fish are around the same size, and I usually don't put anything too aggressive in there.

Yeah I call it "the cryptoheroes tank" and they all get along well. Too many fish to spread out the aggression I think.

Darth the robertoni's are barely pushing 4" I'm hoping for a pair but these 2 seem to hate each other. I think they will get along someday. I think it will be time to move theme to a different tank soon.

Yeah, they have a rep of just hating each other with a passion that's almost holy. So beautiful though!! But then dealing with the larger Amphilophus as you do, it should be cake for ya. I'm still kicking myself for passing on a mated pair of panamensis the one time the LFS had them.

Great update! I haven't seen any of you're fish in a while now so good to see them.

Black Belt is starting to get some size on! The Robertsoni is looking sweet! And the Grammodes is looking wicked too!

To bad about the Argentea...

Have you been over to FF's lately?

Yeah I bought a breeding pair of shellies there on Sunday.

telmatochromis temporalis

I got the nicest pair they had + a shell for them to breed in for $16. The even better news is that when I got home I found fry in the bag that had fallen out of the shell. Then last night the female laid eggs.

I almost bought a vieja regani but decided against it for now. They also had some good 2-3" cubans for $10 each. Tempting but there were like 100 in the tank. I'll wait until Dale wants to give me a good price on a few of them.

I lost all of my phone numbers when I smashed my env2 the other day so just send me a text or something so I have your number. Are you going to the swap thingy this Saturday? I'm going I can call you if theres anything cool there.

I heard nourisatti where worse than roberstonis but these guys are pretty bad. That sucks about the panamensis my LFS still has 1 pair left but their tails are all split. I'd bet you could get them for less than $10 though. I bought the nice remaining 4 for $4 a piece. They're currently growing out next to some cryptoheros septemfasciatus who kind of look the same around 1" so it's hard to tell them a part right now. I just can't wait for them to get some size on them.

I like them a lot but they are the worst pair of fish ever. I had 5 then they bred so I sold the extra 3 like a year ago. Since then they haven't laid eggs. They always have poop hanging from them and both of them tried hooking up with the roberstonis.. I still like them they're just a terrible pair of fish LOL.

Great looking tank:drool:. I think I like the rainbows the best as well. Unfortunately I think you are going to have to get used to the robertsoni's hatig each other. My male never would accept a female. Without a divider he would try to kill her even in my 220g. With a divider they showed zero breeding interest. I just gave up an kept my male. They look great and don't mess with anything.
