Bryanthanks bro...asian market..I think about $2-3 for 50+count frozen also tried crabs..loves it.
I would be carefull with the fog thing, for 2 reasons, first even the most moist loving lizards must have their skales dry, specialy at nigth, to avoid cold and skin problems like blisters. Second I had one of thouse and didnt like it one bit, the fog sorce kind of gave litle electric shocks and I got rid of it for the animals safety. I think this one of thouse products that are made for display not for use on animal enclosures. One more dum thing on the pet trade alongside dog dresses, tiny turtle tanks with a palm on it and hot rocks:screwy: You already have a large water boul with a heater on it, I would say its enough humity for your lizard;)

OH ok then:D Yup that is completly diferent. However I would stop using it for like 1 hour before the ligths come down, to make shure your lizard sleeps dry;)

Very nice, My lps has 2 for sale $1775.00 each. Im sure those pics doesnt do lizard justice. They really look like mini dinosaurs, especially scales on its back and red head with contrast to green body.
Ive always wanted one or two but Im a bit worried about there diet (mostly snails) and how well they thrive in captivity. Ive read captive bred is only way to go for better chance of survival.
There one best looking lizard for sure!!! Grats man.:headbang2

I would skip the cat food seriously, its a notorious cause of kidney failiure and liver and heart desiase in reptiles, even monitors can die from it. You dont want to take chances with either of thouse, the terapy on thouse in reptiles is just in the beggining and often futile. Allways remenbar that reptiles have less evolved kidneys then mamals wich doesant buggs them because of their naturaly low caloric diet, but when confronted with too much protein it can fail with letal consequeses. Dont use it, its not worth the risk;)

There is nothing wrong in feeding it crabs;) But since they are saltwater ones I would keep it to a minimum ands use the snails and crayfish as staples. It would be good that you tryed to find a paper on the wild feeding habits of this lizard, that would help you know the range of foods that he will take
