Nice lookin pair of cichla. Id hurry up and get a few more before those guys get bigger. We all know how much cheaper they are when they are around that size. And they will chow down some small guys....So get a few more!

thanks everyone for the comments..

i am thinking of maybe puting them back into the 55 gal for awhile they seem to be stressed alot and not showing much color most of the time and the bigger one is always hiding in the back corner..

how can u tell a farm raised from a WC pbass?

so i have noticed that the 2 of them the last few days havent been getting along to much, the smaller one use to follow the bigger one around like a shadow but the last few days they have been chillin seperatly and the big one starts chasing the small one (kinda like before) only this time the smaller will stop halfway thru being chased and start fighting back almost and they start kinda fighting with there mouths!

why all of a sudden??

Happened to me too! My tems go into this spiraling battle that will last 2-3 seconds and is kind of cool to watch. Are there other fish in the tank? I found that adding other fish to the tank lessened the aggression. My poor silver dollars get their butts kicked daily, especially at feeding.
