Hi here are some Pics of my 2 Aurantimaculata.
They are awesome!!! about 30 cm and i already was bitten by the bigger one... :)
When I come into the room they wait under the Water surface for food.....and Jump out of the Water to get some goldfish....very nice and evil fish.
And By the Way can someone ID the other Channa ? is it a Marulia or a Maruliodis???

Wow! Very nice, Siciliano! :clap
What size tank are they housed in? Size of pair? Are they burrowing into the substrate? Please keep us updated on their process. Thank you very much for sharing and GL!

Hi,
i can tell you the misurements in cm l: 170cm x70cmx70cm they are aout 35 cm and yes they burrow in the sand sometimes, you have to keep them not to warm!!!
in winter about 19-20 ° and then in spring/sommer about 23-25 ° it is better to keep them witouht heater(like C.bleherie) then they start pairing but i don't have any fry they are doing this for2 MONTHS !!!! :screwy: I heard about a couple Stweartii they used do do it a couple of months untill they had spawned...... so i keep waiting and looking at them while they f**k...
I kep them alone (only some big pleco etc.) they kill every other fish i put in there..... The Male is more agressive than the female he often bites me and jumps out of the tank when i open it to get some fish/food...
the male is on the right at the other pic i think on the bottom I have some Vids while they are pairing maybee i can put them here,......
You haveNice Aurantis too!!!!

Ähhm,
by the way mae some pics of there Heads because from the pics they look like to femals, and forget what snakeheads.org wrote about the sidemarks it is bull**** you can see the diffrence in the shape of the Head and the ähhm i don't know in english.... troaht (like deep troth in the pornos:ROFL: ) my male also haves a vivid coloration on the head he is more blue on the head and the back than her.... i will keep you updated if something new happens
Fantastic spawning shots and lmao at the deep throat reference  It took my sp. "assam" several times to get the spawning right so maybe you will get fry eventually...
