My Leo's crushed my JBL thermometer!
I don't know if they are going to be ok, I found broken bits of glass and some red soild matter on the sand this morning. They have been acting normal all day, any chances of poisoning? Thanks for the help!

Dunno what others would say, but by the time I discovered my thermo is broken,
my aro has stopped eating for 3 days. I do WC and its eating again in the morning.
So dude, go water change NOW before the rays start acting up.

Did you find pleco eggs when it broke? (you must be a long term member to get that one)

If it's red inside its alcohol based, not mercury based, so you won't fry your fish's nerves and turn their brains to mush, but still make big water changes and get rid of all the shards of glass.

I've had rays smash thermometers; I've even had one smash a (supposedly) "shatterproof" glass heater. Rays can be very strong when they see you go to the fridge but not bring them food. I've got a scobina female who goes bonkers when we walk past but don't feed her.
