hey i had a spare tank(30''x12''x18'') with 3 guppies(females) in so i went to the lfs and they had a offer on platy's 10p each and guppies 45p each so i bought 20 platys(m&f mix) and 10 guppies (2 males and 8 females) for it i've got 2 fluval 2+ and 1 fluval 3+ for filteration i stuck most of my spare bogwood and stones i had in it question is are should i try and remove the fry to a seperate tank or leave them in it i will post a pic soon

Id remove the fry if they dont have hiding spaces and if you dont feed that tank often

Provide plants (fake or real) for cover.
Make sure the intakes to the filters have some time of covering so fry don't get sucked it.
Leave them in there, they'll be fine with cover and as long as you keep the parents fed...

You should try to choose guppies or platies as they will hybridize and you will end up with messed up babies.

ye i will add a couple of live plants how many fry do you think i will get per week once all fish are settled in and breeding

Hi. Nice pics but you should get the top part of your heater out of the water. It will keep the thermo switch dry and avoid stray electric current in case your seals leak.
