Took these pictures tonight, just the little guys. None of my larger natives. The tank is a 55g and mostly native though there are some non-natives that I did not have space for in any other tanks.

Two spotfin shiners, they're getting up there in age now and the male is really starting to show it. I originally had seven. They still breed all the time but unless I try to rear some fry I'm gonna be loosing these guys soon I think.

Simply AMAZING photos, I would love to turn one of my tanks into that! If only I had them near me. I'm definately not buying them online.

No aggression at all, I find that female sunfish are far less aggressive than males. There are six sunfish in that tank and the only male is the dollar (though the smallest dollar may be a male as well, I'm unsure).

lucky!!!! awesome pics.

Not completely. I have four male Lepomis sunfish who won't get along with each other no matter the tank size or level of stocking. Two longears (Central and Northern sub-species) a pumpkinseed and a spotted sunfish.
Glad you like the pictures.
