That polka dot pleco is niiice! The royal panaque will get to be a monster in due time.

my favorite is the polkadot as well.. the panaque grows slow though so i might have to wait quite a bit before i could move it with the big boys :screwy:

Get those magnum plecos.. the one that looks like its neon green. And of course, the zebra pleco... i want a pleco collection too.. Dont they fight ? Im amazed the tank isnt full of pleco crap ! :)

no they don't really fight all that much except when jostling for position when feeding.. i was looking for a zebra pl3co before as well but i would probably just keep these guys as the tank load is quite high at the moment.. actually there's usually a lot of crap there, these pics were taken a day after a water change so its still quite clean :)

thanks :) , rarest? probably the LDA33 (polkadot) but the one with the best color is the L128 its got this nice green to blue body color so these 2 would be nice to have :)

oh and there is also the zebra pl3co (which i don't have).. this would probably be the best one and most expensive :)

What sort of local fresh water fishes can be found in your rivers / lakes???

thanks :) , they cost around $US 35-40 here.. we have a local snakehead (striata) found in our local rivers as well as milk fish, and some catfishes but thats about it for large fish here :)

I had no idea they were so exoensive, I had one in 84-85 and gave it away, I don't feel so bad though cause I bought it as a "common" for a couple of bucks, had it about a week before I even noticed.
