View Full Version : My ongoing Pond

Its roughly 7000-8000 gallons, it is far from finished and you cannot really see all of it in these crappy cell phone pics, I just started digging it by hand two weeks ago and this is as far as I have got, I can only work on it in the evenings and weekends as I run a Landscaping company through the week, but its full of water, albeit dirty because of the sand bottom, but it is settling fine, right now its only got about 15 Large comets in and 2 of my 15 inch Koi, I have another 20 Koi to put in it that are at the 2 foot mark. It wil sport a water fall and a little stream aswell, thats what I am working on right now. It is 4 feet deep btw.

First attempt but I enlarged it a bit more, lol:

How it sat tonight, I have added some large boulderss as you can see and some moss all around the rim, I also added some more trees etc:
