Since i changed gravel into white sand as substrate, water was never clear once, no matter how often i change water, it remained cloudy, what should i do?

what type of sand did you use? filtration/powerheads?

Check for ammonia and nitrite. It is common for a change in substrate to cause a nitrogen cycle problem in a tank. As the gravel was holding a good portion of your biological bacteria.

How long has it been? If you switched it all at once, you could be going through a mini recycle since you removed a lot of BB all at once. Do you have an ammonia reading?

i changed sand more than a month ago, it has bb in it, i use chemicals.
i use fluval internal filter and sand is white artificial sand. could it be the sand floating?

I had a buddy who used some white sand he got at a fish store and it was so fine that anytime it was kicked up it just would not settle. So my question is, how fine is your sand?

i bought a sponge filter and switched fluval to sponge, water is clear now, i have changed all water and sand was extreme fine.
