My recently acquired m/f pair of Red Texas. Now that they are in a larger tank, and eating properly, hopefully they will both increase in overall coloration. The male is a solid 9", female approx 7".
Thanks to Jay at Arrovillage for this pair!

No, but then again the male was never represented to me as being fertile.
I was hoping that if nothing else the female would keep the male 'pumped' up.
So far, so good. :)

Good looking pair of fish. RT's are a pretty strong strain so they should do nothing but improve the longer you have them.
I get sick of people always thinking a fish is worth less if it is not fertile, I would love to see pictures of all the offspring form these fertile males people always think they need to have in order to have a fish of any real value. If there were that many successful breeders on this side of the world we wouldnt need transshippers anymore.
