I was just messing around in the fish room this evening, the Ven was moving around a bit with the Festae so I grabbed a few pics, here are a couple that I managed to process . . . check out that glowing red eye!

I need a better camera  that was brutally obvious when Gerry came over and let me try a "real" camera hahaha. I think it's more about setup and understanding what the camera can do rather than trying to make it do something that it's not capable of. . . does that make any sense? I shoot with an entry level Olympus E-500 and kit lenses - cheap, anyone can produce images just like mine (there are WAAAAAY better photogs on here than me) - no problem, practice and fiddle with settings so you can understand what they do for you :naughty:

Thanks BTW - almost forgot :D

i feel like mine just doesnt have the shutter speed (i think thats what they call it) to get clear pictures unless the fish is perfectly still. ill have to work on it.

try bumping up the light over the tank :) Flash helps, especially when it comes from above. You and your camera can do it!
