and jumped out of his tank.:( He launched straight through the glass top.:WHOA:
Now the tail is half gone.
Is it true that it is better to give the aro LESS room to swim while the fin heals? (as read on aro site's) Is this to help the fin to grow straight or hurry healing?

That sucks. It could have been a lot worse though.

HOLY ****!!!!

no, give him more room

it will ease on stress and make him less incline to take the leap of faith again

oh dear. hope your aro is ok. give it more swimming space. heard that a tank without strong currents will help in making the tail stright again.

I really don't want to take any pics. I think that is what got him all nuts in the first place. I was taking some close up pics, put the camera away then turned off the lights and closed the door. A few minutes later I hear a big THUMP.:WHOA:

I fly open the door, and there he is floping all over the room.

Also his barbles are now not lined up straight. There still intact but one now sits lower than the other.

I just need to wait and see if the fin will grow back.:(
