Hi Guy's

Bought myself a Cuvier's Bichir today he's only a young one at 6 to 7" long i had him in my 180gallon but the 2x 10" tried to suck up his head so i've had to put him in my 20Gallon Grow out tank with my Juvinile spotted gar until they are big enough to go in the 180gallon.

cute little senegalus Dan.

I like them a lot, they are so underrated because they are not patterned like other bichirs.

I've kept 5 species of bichir, and senegalus and my favourite. Active, cute, personable and hungry ^_^

I actually am quite more fond of this perticular species of Bichir they had some Ornate Bichirs but i chose this one because i thought they look that little bit better IMO.

The Gar is very active .

I'm feeding them both on Bloodworm and the Bichir is eating Small prawns at the moment.

It's a Gar check out where the dorsal fin is in the 4th pic.
