So today Fabdad came over, and we got a picture of a good number of my plecos. Still missing one of the L239, the smaller and brighter one, both L200s and the king tiger from my tank, and my wifes Chocolate didn't get a picture I don't think. I'll be posting pictures later on tonight.
On a side note, my mango isn't doing so hot, was acting very lathargic. Gotta treat for internal parasites, as he has developed sunken stomach, and is on a very healthy diet. Something isn't quite right in little Tokyo!

Good luck with your mango. Looking forward to the pictures!

I never got the pics. He isn't answering his phone either. He is probably asleep somewhere. I'll be talking to him, and he'll just fall asleep.

Here is an ok pic of the Adonis, I need to clean her tank apparently.
PS, these pics are pretty bad due to it being the day before cleaning. oops.

WyldFya is not that boring, I'm a hypersomniac.
Most of the time, anyway!
lol. lotta water marks on that picture, but the adonis looks neat, got some nice colour in the spots
Nice plecs, and don't give the guy a hard time, the pics are better than ewurm quality.
im sure the pics are fine quality, you see, instead of blurred as f*** its just the glass is harder to see through. lol

Haha Fabdad took the pictures. He just didn't warn me he was coming, so I didn't get the tank cleaned before he arrived.

By the way the Mango recovered great, and is once again hiding quite a bit.

Here is one of my comunity shots of a few plecs hanging together. The first is of my L330, both of the L200s, and my L333, the second is the same but minus one of my L200. Unfortunately these were off of the camera I own, and the quality isn't so hot. Good thing plecos don't move around too much.
nice plecs. what colour is the L200
WyldFya
05-02-2006, 7:19 PM
that is my lighter one, the one under the log in the first pic is the darker one.
is it a true colour morph or just a phase with age?

That royals bloody lovely!
WyldFya

is it a true colour morph or just a phase with age?
They are true color morphs, they are both the same size, and roughly the same age. They are also two different species.

That royals bloody lovely!
Thanks. I love that guy, he will swim right up to my hand if I put it in, and just start rasping on me. I have put an algae wafer in my hand stuck my hand in the tank, and the royal will come eat the wafer out of my hand.

nice fish!
well i had one imbetween the bright green and the yellowy mustard colour, so was that a different sp. too or just another morph?
WyldFya
05-04-2006, 6:18 PM
Could have been either. I have had a yellow mustard in both species. You have to look at the connection between the dorsal and adipose.

i'd have to dig it up, if it is still "intact"
WyldFya

Gross. Haha, it was probably the H. subviridis.
yes it was very similar to it, or at least to this one
WyldFya
05-04-2006, 7:49 PM
B. dematoides, good looking specimen too.
the colouration was the same, i'm not sure on the dorsal fin though
WyldFya

That is why I love them so much, the variations you can have are quite vast!

niiceeeeee, so is that tank all pleco tank only? or is there other stuff in there too?
WyldFya
05-04-2006, 7:58 PM
right now my plecs are split between two tanks. Mine have a few roommates for the time being. 5 Silvers that have a tank build underway, and a royal clown. Oh, and a pink convict, but he just won't die!
so many people have fish that "just wont die" and i always found that odd
WyldFya
05-04-2006, 8:01 PM
My wifes aunt can't get anything to die in her tank of anything but old age, except plecos, she can't even keep commons alive! they will die after only a few weeks in her tank.
sorry i thought you said it in a way of "i want you to die"
WyldFya
05-04-2006, 8:10 PM
Nah, he is just tough as hell. He went over to a friends house with his family of 6 pinks, and a friend went over there and sprayed axe spray all over, used an entire can. The water fouled, and all died except him.
i'm calling animal cruelty !

Pissed me off, as they were really good looking cons, and they had finally settled and started to breed...
:p ahwell i dont like them anyways
WyldFya
05-04-2006, 9:56 PM
like them or not, I still don't want them to die like that!
long as there wasnt any pleco casualties
WyldFya
05-04-2006, 10:02 PM
ME? GIVE AWAY A PLECO!? I don't think so. HAHA

WyldFya
05-04-2006, 10:05 PM

These are from my camera, not as bad as they used to be, but this time some of plecs decided to stay still!

L330 again, can't get enough of him.
WyldFya
05-07-2006, 2:07 AM
Both L200s, the first is of my B. Dematoides, the second and lighter is a H. Subviridis.

Finally a pic with my L106 orangeseam! he is getting big, he was purchased at 2" and is now 3.5" pushing close to 4!
cool pics. that first one though did look like you employed ewurm. at first i thought it was an frt
WyldFya
05-07-2006, 8:03 PM
Yeah I just used it cause it was the only one that showed his real coloration.
What did you think of the L106?
Yeah I just used it cause it was the only one that showed his real coloration.
What did you think of the L106?
it has some really nice colouring in the tail, thick at the moment too
WyldFya
05-07-2006, 8:11 PM
Yeah he got that once I brought him into my tank. He has had it since he was only 2" and now at 3.5" it hasn't lightened at all!
it gradually gets thinner though which is a shame, but looks like it'll take yours a while
WyldFya
05-07-2006, 8:20 PM
I have seen larger ones that the stripe is still just as thick or thicker, but the color is faded. But the owner of that one said his had always been light coloration.
i kinda believe on what you feed it when its younger can make a difference
WyldFya
05-07-2006, 8:28 PM
Yeah, I also don't know what the guys water quality was.
i have all tank at slightly acidic pH6.5, i find i get the best results esp. with plecos that way
WyldFya
05-07-2006, 8:35 PM
I sit it at 7.0, just because our water is so alkaline here.
well the amazon does have the purest water so 7pH is alright for plecos, but i like to keep it slightly acidic
WyldFya
05-07-2006, 11:15 PM
I would too, but my water comes out of the tap at 8.0.

WyldFya

WyldFya
05-08-2006, 7:36 AM

WyldFya
05-08-2006, 11:27 AM
He was quite a pain when he was younger, but he was worth it. I might be selling him off soon though.
WyldFya
05-08-2006, 11:30 AM
He's gotten too big, and I am making a pilgramage up to Spokane on Friday. There is a store that reportedly has a lot of plecs with L#s. So, we'll see. Then again I still have room for several more in my tank! HEHE!
WyldFya

My light L200 decided to grant me a viewing tonight.
