Had to destroy my tank to get it-
Eel took a hit-Broke a lid and other stuff-
So exscuse the quality-

Here is a treat though for ya guys-
Wont say how big the tube is above the eel-
But lets say its 40+ inch

It's looks decent here-
The 5 minute ordeal of him fruiting the heck out did a number to his side-Stressed him out majorly-Hence why the coloraion is so Pale....And reason why water is dirty.....

But I have been asked by several members to try and get some new pics of my guy up-

Last time I do that for anyone though-----My Eel means more than that to me-I will just continue to enjoy what I have-No need for me to post pics anymore of it....

I got a exact measurement-----But I will keep that for myself-

I posted the rough size of tube to give and estimate to size reference...

IMO-I could care less about the size of my Eel (although one of the bigger ones around)-Thats not why I posted this thread....

Even if I posted the exact size-
Someone will dispute it one way or another-I'm not here for a debate...

Mine took awhile to grow-Once I got the diet down and kept ontop of my water and filtration-I seen some really good results in growth...

I look forward to watchng your grow over the years man-You'll truelly enjoy it..

He/she is absolutely gorgeous... and I don't blame you for not wanting to disturb him again. I would love to know what you're feeding though. My eels have been packing on the pounds steadily, but you have the proof of what appears to be a near perfect diet for them. If my TT gets half that size I'll be tickled pink! :jaw:

Yeah I wont attempt pics again on this guy...Not worth it to prove to other's-I know what I have....
Feeding wise is a mix of Raw Seafood that I buy at local market..Can be either shrimp,mussels,silversides etc,etc....I have seen great results with it...

How big is your TT now?

Just a baby 6" or was when I got him. had him about 2 months. he's woofing down earthworms like the devil. eats a whole one a day chopped up. I'm guessing he's a solid 7" maybe 8" now. he's in a 20H w/ 2 senegal Bichir's atm growing out. and any small fish I put in his tank vanish between him and the Bichirs. I'll have to pick up some frozen seafood and try. I'm assumeing it's the frozen bag medely's I see?

I buy mine from a seafood wholesaler up here----I dont trust bagged food one bit....
