I got a normal 2 inch comet goldfish 2.5 months ago, and it's now 6 inches and BULBOUS.

I'm not kidding, it really has grown that fast, I'll try and get a pic, I have no digicam.

It lives in a 180 predatory community, fed the same as the others. Mussles, prawns, hikari food sticks, mealworms etc. It eats huge chunks of mussels and even mealworms :D

I bought it as a feeder for my snakehead, then took a liking to it and kept it in my main tank. Now it is a MONSTER goldfish.

I'm not going to use goldfish as feeders anymore, I have a newfound respect for them. I'm now only going to use platys.

Cool, what kind of snakehead do u have though most of the time any snakehead would kill a feeder if it fit in their mouth or not.

Yes! Another goldfish fan! When I first got my goldfish I used my heater. Then I did some reading on the net and found out they're coldwater fish....... Oops! Hurry up and post a pic of that bad boy!

btw - I have a pic of mine eating squid in the photo lounge.

Yep ;)

I don't have a digital camera, but I need to get some film developed next week so I'll try and take a shot with my 35mm.
