They're sister sites. That's the analogy Bderick was getting at. Not competing. Both along with Aquatic-Photography.com are part of Monster Aquaria Network aka M.A.N.

MFK focuses on fish that Aquaria Central does not. MFK is for people with a passion for rare, predatory, and exotic fish.
