I had two but one did not make it due to aggression from this one. They were in a 240 g tank with some other growouts and the other one still got killed.

Thanks Davey. A group of hobbyists from SoCal collected the original pair. I was able to breed my pair but unfortunately I've lost both of them and now I am left with this female. I gave most of the growouts to some members here in SOCAL so hopefully, I'd be able to get a male from one of them.

If you were here, I would have given you some free cichlids. Right now I'm growing out the following from my breeding pairs: istlanum, cuban, dovii, grammodes, bifa (rio chacamax), and midas.

that female istlanum looks awesome in her breeding dress but my favorites have to be your regular morph motaguense, beani, and your grammodes. That clown loach is awesome too but 6" isn't that huge yet. I have 5 of them that are pushing 5" and they are easily some of the coolest fish in my tanks.

I got my CL when it was less than an inch. It's been more than five years niw and it's 6". I must be doing something wrong or they just grow really slow.

My favorite w/b the istlanum pair. They look good + personality.
