next monster! channa micropeltes or gymnarchus niloticus??

alright you guys im starting the build of my 500g footprint is 8'x4'. I think both of these fish are awesome and i dont mind dedicating the tank to one fish and grow it out. im soo torn i dont know what to go for but i know its one or the other. what would you guys do and why? thanks you guys.

if you live in the states u can't have the snakehead but if u don't get the micropeltes, snakeheads are very personable and owner responsive
