THIS CAT IS AN AWSOME FISH BUT NOT FOR THE BEGINER BECUSE IT REALLY IS SELDOM SEEN , MINE DOES COME OUT DURING THE DAY SOME TIME'S BUT MOST DEFFANETLY WHEN THE LIGHT IS LOW AROUND THE TANK...:D IT EAT'S LIKE A PIG AND SOME TIME'S IT NIPP'S THE OTHER'S EVEN THE JAG WHEN THEY HAVE FOOD , AS TO MAKE THEM SPIT SOME UP ...TOUGH LITTLE GUY IT SEEM'S :grinyes: ENJOY THE PIC'S PEOPLE...

NO , ODD'S ARE THE LOBSTER WILL NIPP UP THE CATFISH AND POSSBLE MAY KILL IT UMM NOT SURE IT IS A WISE IDEA TO PLACE TOGTHER , YOU COULD ALWAY'S DIVIDE THE LOBSTER A SMALER PART OF THE TANK YOU KNOW... :thumbsup:

what if the catfish is bigger than my crayfish?
not the mouth bigger than crayfish..is the size hahah
if mouth bigger then i would not buy it...later the catfish eat my crayfish up :WHOA:

rafael are not that rare i see them at petco all the time for like $6 and they have the striped and the spotted

I was giving a Rapheal cat he was about 6" I put him in my big tank that was about a month ago havent seen him since I think my red tail cat had him for a snack he is about 20" are he still may be in there
HONDA12 : lol no not really but he's a quick little sucker my jag take's shot's at him some time's and he's like ricocet rabbit allover the tank..
STERO : you can try it if you want but I really think it's a bad idea for the cat , but will it ( cat) eat it if able yeah most likely
WARREN126 : lol that kinda sux's if the RTC ate 'em but did you sit by the tank with the light's around u low or off and the over head light's off??? to see if it's in the tank ..

Honda I have moved everything around in the tank looking for him did not find him I have 3 large pieces of drift wood he may be in one of them

When i added my stripped raphael to my tank I didn't see it for 3 months afterwards. It was about 1.5" when it was put in the tank, it swam to the bottom and hid in the plans. The next day when i went to feed the fish i didn't see it anywhere. After a few weeks i thought it had died and eaten by my larger pangasius (6-7" at the time). Still no signs of it till one day (about 3 months after) I was moving around some decor and i found it. By this time it had doubled in size and is now about 3.5-4".

ya my lfs is selling some that are like 5" alomost 6" for 36 bucks but i have no idea if thats a good price or how big they get...

that's alittle expensive for that size but the can get too almost a 12'' maybe the rare acurrence bigger.
