Here some catfish me and my buddies caught in the river.
First one is a 36lb blue cat an the 2nd is a 5lb flathead.
We cought them on creek chub

i go fishing every weekend
and i have never got anything even remotely
that big!!

haha naw i threw it in our pond, theres a few other big cats we cought in there.
I caught it in the missouri river
we used creek chub, its native in our creeks here

we dumped our beer out and put it in our 4 ft cooler. The river is only 10 min from my house so we hauled major ass.
yes we need a 4ft cooler to hold our beer :)

ROFL! Luckily it was only 10mins away. if it was an hour he most probably wouldn't have made it.

Anyone here every go catfish grabbin'? It's where you wade the banks of a river reaching under logs and stuff to catch fish? Just wonderin' I haven't every done it and don't want to try it.

Yup, works in small streams for trout as well. Try overhung clay banks.

i dont feed them anything, theres tons of food in the pond for them.
but some times we'll catch a bunch of blue gill in the lake and throw them in the pond.

what do you use?
and your probably not gonna out there in EL Paso. Kansas and Oklahoma are spoiled rotten with huge cats. I love fishing up there. South/Central Texas has some pretty productive lakes to around Austin and San Antonio, if you feel like a drive, and we have our fairshare here in southeast texas. Then again we also have the Gulf of Mexico to fish in to down here. Its pretty rad when you chum up a huge school of Gafftop Sailcats, and they look flippin sweet. I've caught 30-40 in a few hrs before. granted there usually not as big as that !LUNKER! but at least we've got quanity! lol.
heres a 4.25 pounder a caught a couple weeks ago on dead scrimps.

Were hitting the piers in couple hrs actually. . .the seat trout are jumpin and the gafftops are swarming. . .yall wish me luck! :)
