I've a 3ft planted tank full of this kind of small aquarium snails, size 2 - 5 mm. Anyone try to feed your Lungfish with snails? If so, it would be a perfect alternative food source for your lung....

I have a small Polypterus senegalus (7") is crazy on this kind of aqurium snails and it's interesting to see aim at the tank glass to pick them up. But for lungfish, I'm new and not sure whether I should drop a few in to see how this guy react ?

u can try but no guarantee tat it will eat e snails but maybe if u starve it... anyway lungfish does eat snails or rather almost anything, from my experience, one of mine actually eats e bulbs of floating plants and this can be confirmed from e sources at fish database...
