i thought fishpost.com stopped selling fish years ago. george fear at sharkaquarium.com ships across the globe however and has a LARGE selection of piranhas. ive gought from him before and can vouch for him being a stand up seller.

piranhas are illegal here so it would be very difficult to get a hold of a black piranha here.. maybe red bellies would be easier to get a hold of :grinno:

rbps would be cheaper than a rhom. you can go with 3 rbps at the least and have some serious fun at feeding time. just watching rbps tear up feeders is fun. but if you want a monster try to get a s. rhombeus or rhom for short, i must warn you that rhoms and any serra grow extremely slow and must be kept in their own tank. whatever you get youll have fun with any piranha

Very true. Sometimes rhoms can be even more boring, their personalities are really a grab bag.

I've seen 2 inch BP's for as low as 35-70. When you get into larger species the are more expensive because they grow slow and live a long time. an average size juvenile might run 300 bucks. Where as I have seen some BP's that were blingin' and large that were well over a thousand.

Rhombeus, this piranha is very hard fish. I got those guys in size: 15-17''
I've attached one pic of 40 cm rhombeus. :headbang2
