I have a native tank with Darters, a small Bluegill, and some different minnows. They will eat the Bio-Blend Tropical color food, but will it help their coloration at all? Let me know what you think.

I can't see any reason why not...They are fish as are the tropicals that you would normally feed the pellets to...but I am no expert.

I don't think it will hurt any, but I am wondering if it will accent their coloration.

it should brighten them up in time but the blue gill will have to mature .. if you had a pumpkinseed you mite have to tint the glass on your tank because it'll be so bright :D
here's a pic of my lill blue gill ..[IMG]

I am not familiar with the brand but if it contains carotenes it will strengthen the reds, yellows and oranges

This contains caotenes for red, yellow and orange, and spirulina for greens, and blues.
