Well i was originally going to breed bocourti but im starting to think a 75 might not be enough for a breeding pair. So instead im thinking cubans. How big of a tank would a breeding pair require to be comfortable and not too overly aggressive? THX for the help.

I agree, mine are in a 55 as well and male is 5.5" female 4.5". I also have two tinfoils for aggression. but once full grown i would say 75 minimum. and i wouldnt try any other tankmates unless you have a huge tank .

I was ONLY able to breed mine in a 120g... My male was pushing 9-10" and female was about 4-5"... Tried a 55g and he almost killed her...
