nice spinys, are you sure that is a tire track? looks different than the tons ive seen.
looks like a spiny eel to me. but either way, im more partial to fire eels, and it looks good

Nice eels, I have a mastacembelus mastacembelus, but it's small, about 5 or 6 inches.
you got the mastacembelus mastacembelus in the end? got any pics?

I'll try and take a pic with my 35mm SLR, it'll be hard though I only have very slow film at the moment.
It's markings are not great at the moment but I think it has potential. It's a kind of orangy/tan colour with vague tiger markings.
I'll try and post a pic soon :)
PS - it's shy but cute, not the most exciting fish but somehow I like it.

Honda12, yes I was posting alot of my old fish today just trying to show so of. I used to keep a great assortment of fish now just a few and my Flowerhorns! But yes to your question I do still keep other than just the Horns. I have some Africans, Exodons, puffer, quite a few Central American cichlids as well as a few odds and ends catfish botia etc.:D
awesome eels man. I agree it looks different from tire track eel.

they are called "leopard eels" and also "black spotted eels", i dont know the scientific name
