Today was better then yesterday (by a long shot). Here's what happened:
-I saw a guy catch a tiger musky a little longer than two feet then he went on down the river
-I set both of my minnow traps and waited as plenty of minnows didn’t go into the traps
-The guy that caught the tiger musky came back with a bloody hand and said that he caught two other musky about 40” long and that he sliced his hand on the teeth of one
-I pulled in my traps and found a Blackside Darter Percina maculata in one
II don’t have a picture of the darter yet but once it’s done accumulating to the water I’ll get a picture of it.

Sorry the camera I have is crap and my good one won't get back until Friday. I messed up on identifying the darter I’m pretty sure it’s a swamp darter Etheostoma fusiform but it might also be a brown darter Etheostoma edwini but won't know forsure until I post a picture for you guys to help idenify it. Also does anybody know want this fish will eat?

The swamp and brown darters are not found in Wisconsin. It is much more likely to be either a least darter(Etheostoma microperca) or an Iowa darter(Etheostoma exile). I would love to see pics of it. Iowa darters are very nice looking fish and are actullay easy to maintain.

Well it looks simaler to those two fish. I'll get the pics in a minute, so if you identify it that would be great.

There's a picture of the darter on the link. It you can tell me what kind it is that would be great.
Definitely not an Iowa Darter, I have some of those.
Maybe a Johhny Darter, or a Least Darter:

I apologize, but I really can't get a good idea of whatt hat fish is from the pic. Could be anything. You are very lucky, however, that your state has its fish book on-line. Fishes of Wisconsin, by Becker, is one of the better state fish books and yo can find the entire book on-line at:

I hope you can get some ideas of what your fish is from this. Again, sorry I couldn't be of more help.

You'll need a big tank or pond for one of those things.
