Definitely start very small, at an inch or so. They are adaptable to pellets. Mine loves Omega One and Cichlid Gold. I doubt a mature bass would make the switch.

yea thanxs but i was just wandering if anyone had pics of them in their tanks i catch them every day and i love it so i was wandering what they would look like in a fish tank

you might want to do a seach for threads about bass, I know someone posted pics of there bass in there aquarium onetime, I just can't remember who it was.
