I have finally got myself a big tank and have it running. Its been a long process but I am happy with the results to this point. I got this mainly for my clown knife to grow in! Along with him is 6 Silver Dollars, 2 Blue Gouramis, 1 giant goldfish (got from a fair and wife won't let me get rid of him) and a common pleco.

Using a Rena Xp4 for my filtration. Used river rock for substrate and decorated with larger rocks and a pvc "t" section for my clown knife.

Would really like to add a Fire Eel to go with the tank. Just seems empty at times. Want another monster in their. Let me know ideas, suggestions and comments!

Nice! I'd add a few live plants. Your silver dollars would love some vallisneria!

Yeah i know they would just eat any live plants.. hence why all the fake ones in there. I'm trying to find more "realistic" fake plants like what I have on the right side of the tank. Left side I was just putting in what I had left over.

Still need to add some sort of backing as well

Looks good I would go with a black background to make the knife's color stand out a bit more congrats on your first monster tank

That's a bigas s goldfish.. The different colored lights make it look different too.

You could try adding some other fancy catfish or clown loaches for more activeness..
