I moved the Festae to their new tank a couple of days ago.
They've settled in nicely so I shot a video. Hope you like.

They laid eggs again last night but ate them this morning. I don't know what to do with them.

They have too many tankmates right now. I'm going to have to thin them out.
I'm a little worried about the CLs :)
The CL's co-habitated with a Dovii for a long time. They do just fine.
Thanks everyone for the compliments and comments. Keep 'em coming. :)
Beauties!
Anyone know that "I need a new tank" feeling??!

Man those are the best looking pair i have seen in a long time. The female is like fire red. If you have fry i will definitely buy some. Did you get them from Rapps or another source?
Wow those are nice! Thanks for sharing that video.:) Mike

The male is the offspring of a F0 male and F1 female both from Rapps. The female is from unknown origins. I saved her at my lfs. She was wounded pretty bad but I got her all healed up and looking pretty. =)

See, Rico remembers her. :)

I'm especially proud of my male because I bred him myself. He's 10+" now but if some of you guys remember, it wasn't too long ago that he was just a little 5"er...amazing people by pecking at my Dovii.

They are an awesome pair Balton. She is a total stunner, especially considering she was so badly injured when you got her. Most would not have had a second look with the injury she had. Kudos on such a great effort with the save and healing her.

She looked like crap at the lfs for sure. I'm glad I rolled the dice with her though. She's a fantastic fish now. :)

Are you sure it's the pair eating the eggs? I saw a clown loach zip onto the rock and sniff around a bit...

He's grown a lot in the last few months. Not so much longer, but much thicker and beefier.

Very nice pair. Mine didn't have any problems with the clowns either, however they refused to breed til I pulled all fish. As far as them eating them, when does this happen? I ask because my eggs "dissapeared" too, only to see that the female moved all the freshly hatched into a pot, and I am wondering if she did this and then something else ate them before you could see squigglers.
