a shoal of rbp's just attacked a shoal of silver dollars. this is one of the better piranha shows that i've seen. it's more than just about piranha attacks. it's very interesting.

the staple diet of the amazon's giant otter is largely piranha.

yea, that show's called piranha advanture.
there are two better documentaries of piranha, one is IMAX-Piranha (Wolf in the Water) and the other one is BBC Wild - Piranhas. the second one is in German, I have yet to find a version in english...have no idea what the guy was saying in it, just kept hearing caribe...caribe...etc.

I too saw the show! So incredible. The guy took a normal sized adult chicken (dead) in the river and it took 2 mins 30 secs for it to be taken down to the bone! Then he went to a aquatic museum in France where one of the tanks housed over 1000 RBPs.
He stuck a medium sized (dead) Lamb in the tank and that took 5 mins to get to nothing but bone!

that was on last night 3 times. i liked that one but wolf in the water was alot better imo. i want someone to make a really long piranha documentry where there not talking about its predators half the time lol.

that would be good, except not that many ppl will be watching...mostly they just want to see piranhas rip some poor animal apart, but it would be nice to talk more. about other piranha species.

Agree! I was hoping to hear and see something on Rhoms or something... More than just RBPs.
Either way it was interesting.

that would be so cool if they only talked about rhoms and showed exactly how they act in the wild. thats what i wanna see. maybe i should scuba dive in the amazon???
