Stick away from fruits like grapefruit, oranges and tomatoes, they will foul your water very quickly. If you get mango papaya or kiwi, make sure it is very green, the fruit will be very hard, and will have less acid in it. I feed mango about once a month.

duno mate, maybe if they are green you could try putting them in whole, but as wyldfya said, anything like that will foul the water. i would just stick to cucumbers, potatoes, lettuce, frozen shelled peas etc to be honest. mine cant get enough ;)

Even so, I wouldn't put them in tomatoes even when green have a lot of acid in them.

theyll love any greens. still give it some meat though, protein. catfish pellets, bloodworms, prawns and whatnot
