I thought this guy was pretty cool, the recenently discovered freshwater snapping shrimp (sort of like a FW mantis shrimp) Alpheus cyanoteles

They are from Malasia and all I know about them is their name and that they were first described in April 2004 (I think) here is a link that has a little info in German I think

It's in Polish- the shrimp on that page, however, are South American Euryrhynchus sp.
