Well today was a good day. I went over to my dad's house and was feeding my Jack Dempsey and remembered about all those fry that I got from my dad'd friend's pond and used as feeders. Well I dont know why but I had a hunch that I needed to pick up the big white rock and under it I found one of the baby fish. The only one that had survived three weeks. Then when I went home I went down to the creek to check my minnow trap and I caught a 3-3.5" chub. I think it is just a creek chub/ common chub but a positive ID would be nice. Also I would like a positive ID on the fry too. Im thinkin it is bluegill or sunfish but not sure. Thanks

P.S. Sorry about the crappy photos. The lighting sucks on the tank they are in right now.

The cyprinid is a creek chub, the sunfish looks like a bluegill, though somewhat elongated so I am not positive on that one. Should be easier to ID when he get's older.

That is definitely a bluegill, I catch those fry all the time.

I used to catch rockbass for my smb. They would last a little longer than chubs.
