Archers eating cucmuber

has it been done, or is it a bad idea? i know that some tropical fish benifit from cucmuber occassionally as it gives them nutrients... but would it be ok for archers? I'm assuming they woulod eat it, judjing from when i feed mine that go mad, and i don't starve them, twice a day, whe nthey're on flakes, bloodworms- once a day, but im getting some crickets so they can choose how man yof them... lol

no luck, tried it this morning, they seemed intereste di nthe food idea but just kept spiting it bak out... oh wel, worth a try.
