Couldn't stand the bare tank anymore so I added some gravels I had a while ago and added some plants. looks much much better now than bare tank and the pygos became much less skittish. they used to swim to the other side of the tank if I tried to take pictures but now they all chill out in the open. even the most skittish piraya are less camera shy now, and today is only day one. only draw back was the color of the gravels, wish they are a bit darker, but didn't feel like buying new ones.

Geez Jack they look the nuts man!!!!:headbang2
I see you added some two or three RBP's..... and the piraya is a jewel, one's gotta love 'em all!!!, congratulations you're just missing a couple of terns and that's it the shoal of my dreams.
Best.

thanks Armand.
yea I picked up three wild Peru reds from Alex (Aquatic Sanctuary) last Friday. paid only $10 for them cuz I got $50 credit from Alex for winning this June's POTM on p-fury. :)
very nice guy, highly recommended.
I'm waiting for some ternetzi, but no one has them around 4" or so right now...hopefully soon one of the vendor in NJ will surprise me with some juvy terns, then I'll be all set. :)

Nice to read about you're planning in advance to add some terns (we thought the same :)).
Looking forward to see 'em swimming all together bro.

I thought he belonged to the "kitchen crew" as a snack....:(
Good idea to have some cleaning crew althought they wouldn't last so long.....

well that's what it's original title was, but it's been about a month and they only nip its tail every now and then. I guess they want someone to clean after them.
weird thing is none of the pleco I put in that tank lasted more than a week.

all that tank needs is a koralia 8 and your amazon river will almost be complete (terns needed to complete shoal lol)...
