i would say no, it hurts on peoples cuts i think. i would not recommend it

the main purpose of salt is it will makes it harder for microorganisms to live, well micro organisms dont like changes in salinity they can adapt to salt given time.

yes i know, i was relating pain in humans to pain in fish.

also something i forgot to mention is rapid changes in salinty will stress the fish too. so unless the distress is cause by microorganisms i wouldnt add salt
