I am currently looking to add some turtleweed to my 75, just for looks not for eating, and I had a couple of questions.

1. Is turtleweed sensitive to copper remedies?

2. Difficult or easy?(Maintenence I mean.)

3. Lighting?

4. Squirrelfish, will they tear it apart?

any help on this topic would be very much appreciated. If not suck a wang!

I have turtle grass living in a few of my sumps. I have found it to be fairly easy but it does need some pretty intence light. I am using two hamilton 175 watt 55K metal halides for light. Turtle grass typically occours in relitivly shallow clear water so light penitration and proper kelvin tempature is pretty important.

I don't know this for sure but it would be my guess that copper would have a negative affect on turtle grass. Many plants and macro algae do poorly in copper treated water.

I would doubt that squirrel fish would mess with turtle grass.
