is the noise like a clicking sound?

what size is your tank? tankmates? filtration?

sounds like there might not be enuf water cir. or oxygen in the water?

The dojo is an intestinal breathing species. When water quality starts to show a rise in ammonia, dojos will resort to air-breathing. They do so, basically, by burping out old air and swallowing fresh air. O2 is absorbed by the cilia in it's intestinal tract.
BTW, they're also known as weather loaches due to their behavioral changes that coincide with changes in barometric pressure.

its not like a clickin more like when you push spit thru the side of ur teeth kinda like that. I have him in a 29 gallon with a millenium 2000 on full output. parameters are fine. there is plenty of cirrculation and i turn on the airater thing everyday. he only does everyonce in a while so iwont stress bout it

Your original post made it sound like he was doing it all the time. If it's only once in a while, it's normal for dojos to occassionally replenish the stored air in their intestines. Nothing to sweat over.
