community vs solitary

i have noticed that my fish breed more frequently in my community tank as opposed to tanks i setup with solitary breeding pairs

makes sense... must be easier to unite when there's strangers/enemies about, and easier to quarrel when its just the two.

I have seen the same thing, the hard part is rescueing the fry/eggs.

They breed easier, but harder to keep the fry alive, they'll most likely get eaten.
