Hi,

I am having a little outbreak of algae on my tank walls. It is a sortof a hairly, green algae. Its not bad yet, but I am not sure if it is GDA. It is a planted tank, that had an ich outbreak recently and today is the last day on treatment. How can i remove it?

Thanks,
Francisco

An algael bloom indicates that you are overfeeding or there is a buildup of phosphates. Do some large water changes, and make sure that the fish are eating the food you give. Net out what they don't eat, and along with the water changes the algae wont be able to compete with your plants.
