Hey guys,
Can one of you take the time out to describe the diffrence in temperment between
Northern Pike, Chain Pickerel, Emerald Pickerel and Muskelunge in an aquarium
setting?
Thanks in advance,

I've never noticed a difference except that pike seem a little more competitve, but almost all my exp. is from fishing for them, not keeping them.

their temperaments are all uniform; they're all docile passive fish that will only consume that which easily fits in their mouth. They are all easily bullied by any aggressive tankmates.

I agree.
I remember mattimeo kept a 10" northern pike with a 9" jack dempsey. The dempsey would kick the pikes ass on a regular basis.
yea none of the pike or pickerel family can even attest to smallmouth aggression
all they like to do is stalk and eat
All the above sounds right, the pikerels I've kept only were kept one at a time with a bullhead for company, they liked to lurk in the plants until feeding time then would ease up on the prey, then,,, SMACK, swallow, and a little cloud of scales drifting down, very cool.
