Getting a shiny film on my pond liner and driftwood. Minerals?

Filled it with the hose about 5 days ago. starting 2 days ago once I added some fish and heat this film has showed up. It looks shiny in some spots and in others it looks like a white calcium buildup. I have 3 pbass and a channa in there like 3 days now and they are staying alive and eating but the pbass looked stressed. Any1 experience this?

Did you use a garden hose ?

The only shiny film ive expierenced is on the surface of the water, and it was gas that couldnt escape, so i just added a bubble wand and a spray bar and that created enough surface agitation to get rid of the harmful gases. But if it is the water and on things in the water than it might not be the same thing.

Michael , garden hoses contain chemicals that inhibit growth of molds and fungus and it can be fatal to your fish. Its defintely not a good idea. I would drain the water and replace as much as i can asap
