alright since its down to two how big do thes guys get
I cannot tell from the pics where the upper lip ends, if forward of the middle of the eye it is M. dolomieu (smallmouth), if farther back it is the M. salmoides (largemouth). the SMB gets to 28" and 12 lbs. the LMB gets to 39" and 23 lbs. The single fish is a LMB, the four are SMB. All are juvies and the pics are from fishbase.

Im 100% sure they are largemouth bass, and there are 2 different strains. Im pretty sure bith are found in California. The northern strain is the smaller of the 2 and the world record northern is only around 12 pounds or so, which could range in length from 24-30" depending on girth. The florida strain is the one that world records are made of, and a 25 pounder was recently caught in southern California. Also keep in mind that these are world records, not tank grown fish so its highly unlikely that your fish will ever get in those size ranges. So depending on whether you live in northern or southern Cali, you could have either strain.

It's a largemouth.
Size in a pond will depend on pond size and available food. With a well managed pond you should expect the fish to get 5 lbs + with ample room.
My buddy used to feed his pond premium dog food only. The bass were expected to keep sunfish in check. The bass did indeed keep sun fish in check (allowing the suns to get HUGE) and naturally so did the bass.
That mouth will heal up in no time with good water quality and food.
