Just in yesterday!
Cool fish and peaceful. around 15 inch, OK with cardinal tetras.

It is either a new speices nor a "cross". It is just rarely seen in aquarium trade.
It is a wild fish from south america and the same family with black ghost knife. Nothing to do with elephant nose species, althoght it has a tube like mouth
Jealous..! Been trying to import these now for a while.. Best pictures I've ever seen!
I'm going to have to get one now..

Wow, I never knew Elephant nose can get so big, just like BGK, didn't know it an reach to 20"!
I've always wanted one but I didn't know it grows like, big, so yeah, never got it. I've seen them in aquariums here in Sydney every now and then, and they retail at about $35 AUD for about 4 inches. Is that a good price for one? And how big do they seriously get?
