Good luck! Try small minnows in shallow water, under a bobber, or small minnow plugs. They like to live by cover also!

The pickeral fishing was a bust.
First we dropped the cooler and broke half the beer then it started to thunder and lightening.
Well maby next week

Sounds like a tragedy to me!
try spinner bait's (other then bass type) even spoon bait's work well also , the time of year is important , august is spawning season for these type of fish ... your best fishing is around this time and don't forget big fish feed at nite!!

Spillages were at a minimum last night much to my wifes dismay.
We went Bass fishing but any bass we caught were too big for the tank
Which leaves this question what is this ??
I know I have just recently seen a picture of something similar to this on here but can't find it.
White Perch ??

Well all in all it wasn't a total bust we got to throw the lines in a couple times still had a couple beer enjoyed a nice afternoon while it lasted.
Not a BAD day in all ;) Just not the best .
Yesterdays trip was better.
Looks like a Morone americana (White Perch), they can get to almost 20" but most are caught at a foot or less. Treat like other cool water perch. This pick is of some smaller ones (by Gary Mezaros)
The White Bass is simalar but has stripes.
